Organized by the Office of Cultural and Sports Development of Macau University of Science and Technology, and supported by the Macau University of Science and Technology Foundation, the Federation of Macau University of Science and Technology Alumni Associations and the Xuan Zhi Yun Art Troupe, the campus music appreciation chorus performance "Seasons" was successfully held on April 6, 2025 at N101 Variety Theatre, attracting nearly 2,000 online and offline audiences.
The performance kicked off with the passionate 《Fame》, and the chorus members instantly ignited the atmosphere of the audience with full enthusiasm and infectious singing. Subsequently, the repertoire of 《One Grid》 and 《Ruo Meng》 were sung in turn, and different styles of music intertwined and collided, with both tactful and melodious lyrical melody and lively and agile cheerful rhythm.
Among the many repertoire, 《I Live at the Head of the Yangtze River》 uses soulful singing and soft lighting to tell a leisurely feeling, which is intoxicating; The melody of 《Strange Weather》 is tactful and changeable, just like the changeable weather, sometimes soft and soothing, sometimes lively and jumpy; And 《Attention》 with a popular melody instantly ignited the atmosphere of the audience, with a strong sense of dynamism. Finally, when 《The Brightest Star in the Night Sky》 sounded, the audience was deeply infected, and many people hummed softly, pushing the atmosphere of the performance to a climax and drawing a successful end to the special performance.
The choral expertise was a feast for the ears and the soul, showcasing the talent and style of the choir members in the field of music. We look forward to more performances from the choir in the future, and continue to convey beauty and youth with singing.
